These are the harsh facts this Winter. As war, conflict, political and religious persecution continue to spread across the world, we are seeing more asylum seekers turning up on our doorstep, fleeing life-threatening situations and simply looking for a safe place where they can survive without fear. These new arrivals to Hong Kong need our help; a roof over their head, warm clothing for the winter, vital medical and dental attention, basic food, funds for transport, urgent home repairs and more.

We are the first and only drop-in community centre for asylum seekers and refugees in Hong Kong who come from all races, religions and gender identity, escaping political or religious persecution, war and violence; often failing to realise the difficulties of claiming for asylum in Hong Kong, the extremely complex screening process which can take over 15 years and the exceedingly limited government support.
Our centre serves almost 700 refugees and asylum seekers each month, providing humanitarian assistance, medical and psycho-social support, emergency response, education, employability training, empowerment and outreach, holding their hands and providing a safe place and new family while they try and survive under very challenging circumstances.
