Harmony House  was established in 1985 as the first shelter for abused women and their children in Hong Kong. Today, we have developed into a one-stop anti-domestic violence service agency, with a wide range of preventive, therapeutic and developmental programmes to help families affected by domestic violence. We also organise community education programmes, promote harmonious and healthy family relationships, provide training to multi-disciplinary professionals and advocate for policies and legislations on behalf of victims of violence, their families and communities.

We hope this marathon fundraising event will encourage public support for our organization. The funds raised will help us continue providing support and counseling services for individuals, children, youth, and families affected by domestic violence.

Through this event, we aim to spread positive energy, raise awareness about domestic violence, and highlight its long-term impact on children and youth. Our goal is to help them overcome adversity, build resilience, and lay a strong foundation for reintegration into society.

和諧之家 成立於1985年，是全港第一間為受虐婦女及其子女提供庇護服務的機構。至今已發展成為一站式的家暴防治中心，以多元化預防、治療及發展服務，協助受家暴影響的家庭，並透過不同類型的社區教育活動，推廣和諧健康的家庭關係。此外，機構更為跨專業人士提供培訓，並倡議政策及法律的改革。

我們希望透過本次馬拉松籌款活動，呼籲公眾支持本機構，所籌得款項將用於機構的營運開支，以及支持我們持續為受家庭暴力及家庭衝突影響的人士、兒童及青少年提供支援與輔導服務。

我們期望透過是次活動傳遞正能量，提升社會對家庭暴力的關注，並喚起大眾對其對兒童及青少年日後成長影響的認識，協助他們克服困境，建立堅韌心志，為日後重新融入社會奠定穩固基礎。
